Sounds Recycled!

Linked with the Sounds Rubbish Workshop, this fun activity covers all sorts of technology and the unusual, extremely effective instruments the children make, use most interesting methods of sound production.  Starting with the reception class, Andy moves from class to class throughout the school involving all the children in making instruments that they can take home with them. Clear demonstrations are given and with the exception of the usual classroom equipment, all materials are provided inclusive of cost.

Plain drumming fun for children - drumming on rubbish bins and letting off steam! This is a great activity for developing concentration where the children play  Simon says type games and strong rhythms along with popular CD s and experience mixing simple rhythms in layers.
